Fun exercise stations: also perform tests, demos

Eyesight and/or hearing tests, select measurement tests, demos for chosen products - happen while you exercise, charge your phone.

Short Description

Take the "exercise that charges your cell phone or laptop" idea of Belgium-based WeWATT, and adapt it to concomitant health tests. And to partially-offsetting the carbon footprint of the items you'll be purchasing at Mediamarkt.

Health and/or wellbeing experience

At the Mediamarkt store, imagine sitting down at a boat rowing simulator, or at a stationary exercise bike. As you row or pedal, you are looking at a curved screen in front of you. You might also be listening on headphones or in-ear instructions. Your rowing or pedaling is not just helping you burn calories and exercise your muscles. It is also charging your phone or laptop, and/or earning you a form of carbon credits/offsets that you can alter apply towards your product purchases. But there's more. The curved screen is not just a display, but is also the testing station that is checking your eyesight. And your hearing can be tested, too, while you are happily rowing or pedaling away. There's more- your heart rate, O2 saturation, etc can also be tracked through sensors that are either embedded into the chair/rowing handles, etc.
