3D printed parts can be used to customize or improve products (e.g. improving the grip on a product, or making it easier to use for someone with disabilities). Also, importantly, 3D printing can sometimes provide parts for repair (especially in instances where it is user-serviceable).
The 3D printed parts and repair service aspect can be combined with the very useful Idea 7266 by Guillermo: "Laboratory to Recalibrate your Health Devices. The chain of stores and suppliers will coordinate to offer the health devices calibration service." Moreover, by 2025, some troubleshooting, recalibrations and resets might be done without human technicians - by using AI that links up with the device interfaces.
