Telehealth kiosk, and telepresence advisors

Get access to qualified doctors, nutritionists and fitness conditioning experts. Then buy what you need from Mediamarkt

Short Description

People can make better decisions about what they should buy if they can also have a qualified expert by their side to answer questions and give opinions on product suitability. My idea is that the Mediamarkt store will not only offer (24x7 if possible) telehealth kiosks, but that Mediamarkt customers can ask remote experts to accompany them on their shopping trip via a telepresence robot.

Health and/or wellbeing experience

Regarding the telehealth kiosk, see this example: https://www.darkdaily.com/rite-aids-new-telemedicine-kiosks-in-select-ohio-pharmacies-allow-customers-to-consult-with-physicians-for-a-nominal-fee-403/

Sure, telehealth kiosks like the one described above cost money. But they can remain affordable. For example, there can be a Mediamarkt subscription plan that allows N number of free visits, or Y number of free credits (where different services may be valued at different numbers of credits).

The advantage of placing such telehealth kiosks inside or adjoining Mediamarkt stores is that a person is more likely to buy Mediamarkt 'shealth-related items based on discussion and suggestions received from the professionals/experts during the telehealth kiosk. The advantage of having telepresence robots available to walk (roll) alongside the shopper in the store is that shoppers can evaluate potential purchases in real time with the remote expert over the telepresence connection.
