Small area in the store for simple, non-invasive health tests

Short Description

Within the new health and wellbeing area in the store there is a smaller section for a mini-lab. The tests should be quick and easy, non-invasive and require no specifically trained staff. The tests can range from body metrics (weight, body composition), heart (blood pressure, pulse, EKG), lungs (volume, breathing force) to posture.

Health and/or wellbeing experience

n the new Mini-Lab section which is part of the healthcare and wellbeing area you can find out different parameters of your health and wellbeing.

Physical layout:

Small, sectioned of area for privacy with the different tests available with a MM employee. Also there is a small table with 2 chairs for the customer to sit, and one for the employee.

The available test should have these criteria:

  • quick (results available immediately), easy & helpful

  • non-invasive

  • require no specifically (medically) trained staff

Possible tests could be:

  • Body metrics: weight, body composition (muscle, water, bone etc.), height, circumference, grip strength

  • Heart: blood pressure and pulse, EKG

  • Lung: volume, breathing force

  • Energy Metabolism: breathing test (bacterially and virally safe)

  • Posture: short posture tests (pencil in each hand, relaxed shoulders, both should be pointing straight forward)

Possible products to recommend after test:

  • Body metrics: smart scale, AR measure app, measuring tape, power meter for grip strength

  • Heart: blood pressure and pulse monitor, EKG devices

  • Lung: Philips peak flow meter

  • Energy Metabolism: breathing test (service: a handout with metabolism parameters with short analysis meeting, e.g. 40€)

  • Posture/ergonomics: monitor/glasses with blue light filter, adjustible gaming chair, posture straps, ergonomic mouse/keyboard/monitor, maybe even tension relief with heating mats etc.

  • General: home lab products (try test in store)

Target group

People who want to know certain metrics about themselves and do not have the required equipment at hand/at home or lack the experience to analyze it themselves.
