Media Markt has an area or room that is separated from the rest of the store, where the focus is on relaxation and stress reduction. There are many devices there that are designed to offer the customer relaxation while shopping and at the same time there is an opportunity to try out various gadgets that are designed to significantly reduce everyday stress. The focus is on all five senses of the human being.
Health and/or wellbeing experience
There is a new area, somewhat shielded from the rest of the store, equipped with relax or massage chairs. Around it, some articles and gadgets are displayed on counters or shelves, which can make an important contribution to stress reduction. Customers can also listen to relaxation music by artists supported by Media Markt in the massage chairs and relax while trying out new headphones. An employee can also offer a service in an advisory capacity. For example, a customer can use a particularly good headset while testing a meditation app on a smartphone provided by the store, for which he or she will at best take out a subscription (hand out 10% coupon with commission from e.g. Headspace for Media Markt). This can also be used to combine the sale of several products from the store. In the same way, an employee can show and demonstrate different massage products to the customer or even receive a massage with one product. From the warmth massage cushion to the neck massager, everything is available. There is also a smoothie bar where you can either order a drink or try out different mixers that you can buy in the store. You could also consider different services that help the customer to get his glasses cleaned. There are also various air filters and fragrance dispensers which you can also buy directly in the market in the wellbeing area that create an incomparable atmosphere in the area. In this way, all five senses are addressed. The aim is to make the customer feel comfortable and to create a very positive feeling with Media Markt.
